ABOUT Mornington Village Medical Centre

A Practice Built Around People, Not Just Appointments

Mornington Village Medical Centre has been caring for the Mornington community for more than two decades.

Founded by husband-and-wife doctors, Dr Con Rassias and Dr Alexandra Lazaridis, the practice was created with a simple belief: good healthcare should feel personal, consistent, and easy to come back to.

HOW IT ALL STARTED

From a Family Vision to a Community Practice

In 2003, Dr Con Rassias and Dr Alexandra Lazaridis moved from another local practice in Mornington to establish Mornington Village Medical Centre.

Their goal was to create a clinic where patients could feel known, listened to, and supported by doctors who understood their history.

More than twenty years later, that same belief continues to shape the way we care for our patients. Today, we are a family-focused general practice supporting people through everyday health concerns, ongoing conditions, preventative care, and the many changes that happen across different stages of life.

For many of our patients, care is not just about one appointment. It is about having a familiar team they can return to, ask questions, and trust over time.

Fully Accredited, Fully Committed

Mornington Village Medical Centre is proudly AGPAL accredited, meeting recognised standards for quality and safety in Australian general practice.

For our patients, this means our systems, processes, and standards of care are regularly reviewed to help ensure we continue providing safe, reliable, and professional healthcare.

WHAT WE BELIEVE IN

Care That Makes Room for You

Good healthcare should never feel rushed or impersonal.

We take the time to understand your concerns, remember the bigger picture, and make each step of your care feel clear and manageable

  • Care Takes Time

Health is not always simple, and sometimes one concern leads to another.

We encourage patients to let us know when they may need a longer appointment, so we can give their concerns the time and attention they deserve

  • Your History Matters

The more we understand your health, your background, and your everyday life, the better we can support you.

Building long-term relationships with our patients helps us provide care that feels more considered and connected.

  • Healthcare Should Feel Manageable

From booking an appointment to speaking with our reception team, we aim to make each visit as straightforward as possible. Our goal is to help patients feel informed, supported, and comfortable asking for what they need.
